G.dragon
and his music achievements
Kwon Ji-yong was born 18 August, 1988. He is known by names G.Dragon, is a Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and music producer. After 6 years as trainee of YG Entertainment (2001-2006), G.Dragon officially debuted as a team leader and is one of the two rappers of Korean Big Bang. After that, He taken part in the album production, written, and arranged some of the songs became the trademark of the group as “Lies”, “Last Farewell”, “Haru Haru”, and “Fantastic Baby”.
G.Dragon released
his own debut album with titled Heartbreaker on the year 2009. The album has
become one of the most successful albums of the year with sales more than
200,000 copies, and won the “ Album of year” award at the Mnet Asian Music
Award 2009. In 2010, G.dragon and T.O.P together recorded and released the album GD & TOP. In the summer of 2012 he
released the first EP, One of the Kind
with hit as “One of the Kind”, “Crayon”, “That XX”. The album received an
audio recording of the year at the third Seoul Music Awards 22. The second
album, Coup d’Etat (2003) continued successful when bings for him artist of the
year award at Mnet Asian Music Awards 15th. He also received the world’s Best Entertainer
Award and the World’s Best Album in World Music Awards 2004.
G.Dragon
became the second member of Big Bang having the album released in Japan after Daesong. He was praise thanks to his
hard-working, creativity and style in the fashion industry.
