  Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9,1956) is an American actor, director, famous film producer. He won two Oscars for his roles in Philadelphia and  Forrest Gump. Hanks is one of three actor who plays seven consecutive blockbuster grossing over $100million, he also is the star brought the second highest revenue in the history of cinema.
Hanks was born in Concord, California, United States. His father, Mr. Amos Mefford Hanks is a chef, and his mother, Janet Marylyn Frager is working in the hospital, they divorced when Hanks was 4 years old. Tom Hanks has a sister- Sandra Hanks (a writer), a brother- Lawrence M.Hanks(entomologist) and a younger brother- Jim Hanks (also an actor and film producer)
