Beyoncé Knowles (born September 4, 1981) is a American
singer, songwriter, dancer, music producer and actor. Born and raised in
Houston, Texas she performed in various singing competitions and dancing since
she was a child and began to farm in the late 1990s as the lead singer of the
girl group Destiny’s Child. Managed
by her father, Mathew Knowles, the
group become one of the best selling female
group of all time world. During the hiatus of the group, Beyonce
released her first album, Dangerously in Love (2003) confirmed her as a soloist
throughout the world. The album won five Grammys and topped the Billboard hot
100 charts with two singles, “Crazy in
Love” and “Baby Boy”.
After Destiny’s Child disbanded in June 2005,
she released the album B’Day (2006). Including the successful song “Déjà vu”, “Irreplaceable”
and “Beautiful Liar”. Beyonce also starred, won a Golden Globe nomination in
Dream Fame (2006) and the roal in The Pink Panther (2006) and Obsessed (2009). Marriage
to rapper Jay-Z and Etta James roles in Cadillac Records
(2008) affect her image in their third album, “I Am…Sasha Fierce” (2008). The album
won a record six Grammy in 2010, including the “Song of the Year” for “Single
Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”. Beyonce pause music career and regain control in
2010, her fourth album, 4(2011), carrying the melody mature and sweet, explore
the style of 1970s funk, pop, and soul music of the 1980s-1990s of the fifth
album of her appreciation by exploration and production testing of the darker
themes. Her sixth album, Lemonade (2016), was released along a short film of
the sames names.
Throughout her career, she has sold over
100 million albums as a soloist, and more than 60 million records with Destiny’s
Child, causing her to become on of the music artists to sell music CDs fastest. She
won 22 Grammys and was nominated female artist in the history of the most
awards. She also won 24 MTV Video Music Award, more regardless of any other
artist. Recording Industry Association of America recognized her “Artists spend
most certified 2000s. In 2009, Billboards honored her “Artist Top Radio Song head of the Decade”, “Women
leading artists of the 200s” and awarded
the Millennium in 2011. Time magazine listed her in the list of 100 most
influential people in the world in 2013 and 2014. Forbes also names her the
most powerful females artists in the entertainment industry in 2015. In 2016,
Beyoucé appears in sixth position in the list of Person of the Year.
